Special Education Aide – Temporary – 1:1 Aide
Work Year/Hours: Through June 17, 2021
Up to 7 hours plus 30-minute lunch/day
Location: Kment Elementary
Start Date: Immediately
Salary: $13.17 per hour
Minimum Qualifications:
- Successful experience working with students
- Ability to accept and work with a wide range of student behaviors
- Good physical health
- Record of excellent attendance
- Such additional or alternative qualifications as may be determined by the Board of Education
Preferred Qualifications:
Some college coursework or meet standard as a highly qualified paraprofessional (ie: Work Keys Exam)
Sample Qualifications:
- Work at the direction of the teacher to assist and supervise students
- Assist with management of student behavior
- Assist in lunchroom program
- Assist in reinforcing programs set up for special problems
- Dispense medication as may be assigned
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
