                                                               Assistant Principal

                                                             Roseville High School

 

Work Year\Hours:          Per contract with hours, including special events and evenings, as scheduled by the Principal.  25                                           days beyond the school year.

 

Start date:                    August 2022

 

Salary:                         Per Association Contract

Qualifications

  1. Master's Degree; coursework in Administration preferred.
  2. Valid Secondary Teaching Certificate.
  3. Must hold or be eligible for Administrative Certification.
  4. Minimum of 3 years experience at the secondary level.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work successfully with staff and community members.
  6. Evidence of participation in district wide committees and/or activities.
  7. Such additional or alternative qualifications as may be determined by the Board of Education.
  8. Recent course work desirable.
  9. Evidence of organizational and interpersonal skills.
  10. Evidence of strong verbal and written communication skills
  11. Evidence of skills for generating and sustaining community support
  12. Background in data entry, master schedule and computers recommended.
  13. Knowledge of state testing process desirable.
  14. Other factors as established by the Board of Education.

 

Duties and Responsibilities  (Examples Only)

  1. Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the principal and the Central Assist the principal in the organization, administration and supervision of the building.
  2. Assist the principal in organizing and supervising clubs, sponsors and student activities, including evening activities.
  3. the principal in the evaluation of staff members.
  4. Assist the principal in organizing and supervising the lunchroom and in training the staff assigned to the lunch program.
  5. Assist the principal in coordinating and monitoring building fund-raisers based on district policies.
  6. Assist the principal in the preparation and filing of local, state and federal forms and reports.
  7. Handle all communications as referred by the principal.
  8. Maintain good public relations with the community and utilize community resources to enrich the program.
  9. Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the principal and the Central Administration.
