Assistant Principal
Roseville High School
Work Year\Hours: Per contract with hours, including special events and evenings, as scheduled by the Principal. 25 days beyond the school year.
Start date: August 2022
Salary: Per Association Contract

Qualifications
- Master's Degree; coursework in Administration preferred.
- Valid Secondary Teaching Certificate.
- Must hold or be eligible for Administrative Certification.
- Minimum of 3 years experience at the secondary level.
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully with staff and community members.
- Evidence of participation in district wide committees and/or activities.
- Such additional or alternative qualifications as may be determined by the Board of Education.
- Recent course work desirable.
- Evidence of organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Evidence of strong verbal and written communication skills
- Evidence of skills for generating and sustaining community support
- Background in data entry, master schedule and computers recommended.
- Knowledge of state testing process desirable.
- Other factors as established by the Board of Education.
Duties and Responsibilities (Examples Only)
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the principal and the Central Assist the principal in the organization, administration and supervision of the building.
- Assist the principal in organizing and supervising clubs, sponsors and student activities, including evening activities.
- the principal in the evaluation of staff members.
- Assist the principal in organizing and supervising the lunchroom and in training the staff assigned to the lunch program.
- Assist the principal in coordinating and monitoring building fund-raisers based on district policies.
- Assist the principal in the preparation and filing of local, state and federal forms and reports.
- Handle all communications as referred by the principal.
- Maintain good public relations with the community and utilize community resources to enrich the program.
- Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the principal and the Central Administration.
