Restorative Justice Facilitator
Location: Eastland Middle (1), Roseville Middle (1), Roseville High School (1)
Work Year: School Calendar – 182 Days
Work Hours: 7 ½ hours per day includes ½ hour unpaid lunch. Consistent with
applicable building; May be modified/
Flexed by building principal, including the option of afternoon or evening
Meetings.
Salary: $43,050 Annually
This assignment will be filled for the 2022/2023 school year. Continuation of the position will be contingent on the availability of future grant funding.
Role: Facilitator will utilize the strategies of Restorative Justice to mediate and help resolve issues among students, parents, and staff.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree/counseling or social work preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals and groups.
- Experience working with secondary level students.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Record of excellent attendance.
- Such alternative qualifications as may be determined by the Superintendent.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certified or licensed as a counselor or social worker (preferred).
- Background/experience in counseling or social work (preferred).
- Experience with adolescence-aged youth.
- Such other qualifications as may be identified.
- Previous experience in Restorative Justice Training for conflict resolution.
