                                            Restorative Justice Facilitator

                                                               

 

Location:            Eastland Middle (1), Roseville Middle (1), Roseville High School (1)

 

Work Year:          School Calendar – 182 Days

 

Work Hours:        7 ½ hours per day includes ½ hour unpaid lunch.  Consistent with

                          applicable building; May be modified/ 

                          Flexed by building principal, including the option of afternoon or evening                                                                                             

                          Meetings.

 

Salary:                $43,050 Annually

 

 

This assignment will be filled for the 2022/2023 school year.  Continuation of the position will be contingent on the availability of future grant funding.

 

Role:   Facilitator will utilize the strategies of Restorative Justice to mediate and help resolve issues among students, parents, and staff.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  1. Bachelor’s degree/counseling or social work preferred.
  2. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals and groups.
  3. Experience working with secondary level students.
  4. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Record of excellent attendance.
  6. Such alternative qualifications as may be determined by the Superintendent.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  1. Certified or licensed as a counselor or social worker (preferred).
  2. Background/experience in counseling or social work (preferred).
  3. Experience with adolescence-aged youth.
  4. Such other qualifications as may be identified.
  5. Previous experience in Restorative Justice Training for conflict resolution.
