General Paraprofessional – 2 Openings
Roseville High School
Work Year\Hours: 10 1/2 Months per year
7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Hours may be modified by Principal
Start date: 2023/2024 School Year
Salary: $20,671 - $25,461 in 4 Steps
Qualifications:
- College or Community College coursework preferred.
- Experience working with secondary-aged youth preferred.
- Aptitude or demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining positive relationships with secondary-aged youth.
- Aptitude for learning and using computer-based programs associated with school safety and security.
- Ability to fulfill the responsibilities of the position, including:
- Supervise/maintain order in the lunchroom, corridors, lavatories, and detention periods.
- Follow written and oral instructions provided by the administrators.
- Demonstrate positive communication skills with students, staff, parents, and community.
- Willingness to be trained in verbal de-escalation, conflict resolution.
- Work effectively as part of a safety and security team.
- Work with students in small groups or classroom settings.
- Maintain an excellent record of attendance.
- Other duties to promote safety/security and a positive school culture as assigned.
