Work Year:                                                10-1/2 months

 

Locations:                                                 To Be Determined  

 

Salary:                                                      $16.36 - $17.70 in 3 Steps

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

• Experience with Early Childhood Development and School Aged Children
• Ability to work with children with varying needs and capabilities
• Good Physical Health and mobility
• Record of excellent attendance.
• Such additional or alternative qualifications may be determined by the Board of Education.

 

The ideal candidate will have:

· ABA experience or experience working with children with Autism

· Exhibit patience and understanding

· An open mind and positive attitude

 

Expectations and routine duties include but are not limited to:

 

· Assist in toileting needs if necessary based on population

· Take direction from the lead teacher

· Follow verbal and written instructions

· Collaborate with a larger team to problem solve

· Flexibility to implement interventions or new ideas

· Assist in behavior management if necessary (Adhere to CPI Standards)

· Maintain confidentiality

· Focus on teaching independence in everyday routines, academics, and social interactions

· Assist teacher with data collection

· Assist in the lunchroom program

· Regular and reliable attendance

· Other duties as assigned
