Work Year/Hours:     10 1/2 months – 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. or as determined by the principal.

                                       

Start Date:              To Be Determined

 

Salary:                    $15.09 (Step 1) to $18.23 (Step 4) – Tier 2

Minimum Qualifications

 

  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Knowledge and competence in the use of computers including word processing and database programs; willingness to upgrade skills as necessary.
  3. Trained, or available and willing to be trained, in the Power School program.
  4. Ability to meet and deal effectively with staff, students, and community members.
  5. Training and experience in typing with a minimum of 50 wpm.
  6. Ability to make accurate computations.
  7. Ability to operate usual office machines.
  8. Excellent record of attendance and punctuality.

 

Duties: (Including but not limited to the following: )

 

  1. Establish and maintain general office procedures in a manner consistent with good practice.
  2. Type correspondence, forms, letters, and reports as required.
  3. Maintain files and records, including financial reports and fundraising documentation.
  4. Post information to files as necessary.
  5. Place and receive telephone calls.
  6. Handle routine matters in a prescribed fashion. Make minor decisions in accordance with established rules and regulations.
  7. Order supplies when needed, process printing requests.
  8. Dispense medication as may be assigned.
  9. Organize and assign building coverage for absent teachers.
  10. Arrange and maintain building use calendar.
  11. Testing support and scheduling.
  12. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the principal
